Default need head gasket replaced - recommend shops in Rochester, NY

Well, like the title says, my car is in need of a new head gasket. It's burning up coolant really badly. Nothing is leaking visibly and the car is running fine otherwise. I took it to John Holtz Honda up here and they looked at it, confirmed bad head gasket, and quoted 1500-2000 to repair it - forget that.

I'm hoping someone on here would know of any good places in Rochester. I havn't check out any national chain places like pep boys or midas yet. Even if someone could do it out of their garage in a day, I'd give ya a nice check for your help I just don't have the tools, know how, and a garage to do it myself.

And just so you know, it's a 96 ex with 200k on the clock.

Thanks

Wow, between all the tools I needed, the OEM parts, and ARP studs, I didn't even spend $1000 replacing my head gasket.

Yeah, 2 grand is a bit much, espeically for a car that's only worth maybe what 1 grand at most

thanks man. I do have a couple weeks to play with (don't have to drive my car anywhere for the time being). I'll email you later in the week when I get some more prices on parts and stuff worked out and we'll try to work something out.

Thanks again
