Default Stupid Exhaust Q

i just bought an exhaust for my 97 CX Hatch and i cant get it to fit the "B" pipe is too short and the place where it bolts to the car is a 3 hole flange and the car has a 2 hole flange and im about a foot short. I bought the exhaust off ebay and it said it was for a 96-00 hatch. What would i need to do to get it to fit. Any help will be appreciate, Thanks.

No-name exhausts sold on ebay are notoriously bad quality, unless you purchase a good name-brand exhaust from reputable seller

You must have bought a coupe exhaust instead of a hatch exhaust or vice versa.

See if the seller has a return policy and buy yourself a Megan drift spec.

That's the ONLY cheap ebay exhaust I'd buy and it's $300

The CX has teh cat on under the manifold and the exhaust is a different length. If you get a header and car from a y8, it should bolt up fine.
