SI Tranny in a D15B2?
would a 88-91 si tranny, ecu work in a 89 civic dx with a d15b2? if so would the would it be a good performance swap??? im gonna just rebuild my d15b2 and do a mpfi conversion. and i know you wondering why i just dont do a A6 swap but i wanna see how quick i can make a d15b2!
Everything will be fine, but you can't use the MPFI ECU until you actually do the conversion. Just in case you planned to use the ecu for the time being

Actually, there is no difference between 1988 and 1989-1991 axles. Perhaps you were trying to use 1989-1990 STD axles on you DX?
