Ebay fog lights???
Like anything, You get what you pay for. But the depot ones arn't bad, they have a good fit and put out some good light. But if your gunna do it big, get a set and then retro fit a set of is300 fogs in them.
The fit/finish of the eBay fogs is equal to the OEM except for the wiring. They are not "plug n play" like the OEM kit, so you will have to wire it in yourself. The switch is cheap as well. I bought the yellow eBay fogs, wired them into my parking lights and then got a hold of an OEM switch, which I custom wired to work beautifully. All in all I got a great fog kit for $80 total plus my time (which is free for me). A lot cheaper than the OEM kit for $350+.
How do they install? Do you have to cut out the bumper? I can't get a close enough look at any of the pictures. The ebay ones look like they come with a harness. I am guessing it is ghetto though? That is fine, I can wire, but I am just worried about the install of the actual fog lights into the bumper.
The actual lights that attach to the bumper are almost identical to the OEMs. The plastic is thick and sturdy. I had to custom mount them, with my HFP kit, but without the HFP kit they should go directly on with no issues. Yes, you will have to cut out the black areas on either side of your lower grill to install. It comes with a harness that is good enough, it just has to be wired into existing wires to work. If you have basic electric knowledge, it should be easy.
they look like oem, u cant tell, a buddy of mine bought it for his ep and for him it was plug and play, they work good and look great, made me want to buy some
