So.. I'm sure this has happened on here before but since I'm bored, it's cold outside, and I'm relatively new to honda-tech I figured I'd ask. What do you do to support this expensive hobby?

I will go first.

I work for a small consulting company and my job title is Developer Consultant. What that works out to is that I take software we sell and then make customizations to the software to do the things that the purchasing company needs it to do. Also we do one off solutions for companies. What that boils down to is I sit in front of a computer all day writing database/web code(I know fun).

Alright who's next?

edited because my sentences just didn't make sense.

I test Java and SQL code. Test stuff to make sure it works like it is supposed to and test stuff to "break" it.

Job title is QA Lead.

I'm a Mech. Engineering student, and I'm also a tutor for HS kids in math, chemistry, physics and english. I also sometimes get the odd sidejob.

One more year to go and then I will start to earn a REAL salary for a real job lol. But the poor college student live is not so bad

tell me about it I miss college a lot, but I do love having money to spend on my hobbies. JalopySiR I cooked for a year or so in college I enjoyed the work truthfully but I like cooking more as a hobby than a job now.

my full time job while on summer and winter breaks from school is a CAD drafter for a structural engineering firm. I'm currently in school to get my masters in architecture though. It's hard to support this hobby, school, car and everything but damn is it worth it.

I am part owner with my parents of an Appliance Business. I spend my day in a van going to people's houses to fix their appliances, also sell new appliances and install them.

Thats my job, 6 days a week. Cash only calls on saturday though, they go straight into my pocket, that is probably the best part of my week.

So ya if anybody ever needs appliance advice on fixing etc... just shoot me a p/m.
(appliances being washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, garbage disposals, water heaters, and hvac as well.)

lot of technical people here.
I work for a small ISP in the Tacoma area where I mainly do technical support, but i've been learning a little bit about server management. That supports everything right now. I also intern at a recording studio for free.

While attending school for my Master's in Aerospace Engineering, I am a technician at a Yamaha dealership. Wish I was at a Honda dealer, though.

Valve jockey / cook / maid at a power plant (save the Homer jokes....we're not nuclear). Started 18 months ago, but have only been working for three or so (broken clavicle + torn ankle ligaments + family leave).

Either staying for another year, or transferring to the **** plant - sorry, water treatment plant - next door.

Or, getting my Master's in Math and teaching at a JC.

Decisions, decisions.

I determine fault in vehicular accidents for an auto/cycle insurance company. In other words, the number of people who hate me is growing exponentially daily.
