Comps were used on the real time ITR's and ill be getting these sometime in the near future. Either wheel is a great choice.

I'm glad to see people are posting their opinions.. but it would be great to actually get some of the answers to my original post. No thanks on the other SSR's, I have my mind set on one of these two.

I thought the SSRs are too soft and bent easily?

Rumor has it they are easily bent, but I have had no trouble with mine. 15x7.5

Hey Floyd,

Thanks for the pic! I've never seen a pic of those wheels in 15" on an ITR. Only those lame white/orange ricers with those 17s.

i'd definately say the Volks are stronger. I would not ssr's with low profile tires, IE 17s. with 15" rims you should be fine though.

I would say that the SSR Comps are really strong... a friend and I where going on a canyon run and he lost control on a sharp 20 mile turn so he hit the gutter then got on the ditch, luckily the ditch was too high for he did not go over it or else he would be dead. Anyway end of story both front wheels suffered major scratches and no bends nor cracks, I was surprized to think he had 17's with 40 series tires " toyo fz4" . I by the way have 16 inch RH CP-035 with 45 series toyo t1-s and one day hit a pot hole while going 35 miles and got a bent outer lip out of the whole ordeal , I say by me experience that the CP-035's are not that strong.

i say go with the SSR Comps man

Yeah, Zyg, those do look nice. But how about these?

I've had them for a couple months now, and I'm running 205/50-15 Azenis on them. They are 43mm offset, and don't rub at all. They seem to be a great match for the oversized Azenis.

A few questions....

1. Is the only difference between the RG's and the SSR Comps the lip around the boarder?

2. Still not sure what colors RG's come in..

3. ***Still lookin ... ANYONE have pics of SSR Competitions on an Integra in 17 inches (gunmetal OR silver only)??

A pic of one with 17 inch RG's would be great too

It's probably because you have 205/45 tires, Judd. I don't have any problem with my CP-035's on my Prelude. They're wrapped with 225/45R16 on the front, and 205/50R16 on the rear, and they're supporting a 3,000 lbs car and see lots of auto-x'es. And sometimes I failed to slow down to go over some potholes. I'd say they're pretty strong.

And back to the original question, I would go with the SE37K's because not too many people have them so it makes you kinda unique (well, sort of.....'cuz I have SE37K's on my Integra ).

Are these SSR Competitions in 17-inch Gunmetal? If so, I didn't know they had a polished aluminum lip!

Jon

* Pics of 17 inch SSR Comps/SE-37's on a Type-R would be great (silver or gunmetal)
