I'm assuming it all depends on the tune.

You're kidding, right???

I've seen gains of 20+ hp in the midrange using Toda ITB's on B-series motors ... gains should be similar or more on K-series

ITB's are better used with an aggressive cam and proper tune ... you'll get your best results with that setup vs using them with a stock motor. The biggest gains will be in midrange hp and torque vs peak numbers ... this is an excellent mod since you will gain a lot of usuable power ... esp needed for road racing applications!

ITB's are not cheap and can be costly to tune properly ... however the gains in performance and sound are amazing!

Is your being held back by the stock or Type R intake manifold? If not, then you shouldn't be considering this upgrade.

Also, ITBs are only good for racing applications, not a daily driver.

im just stateing what i read on toda's website thats all.

"Q) I have a completely stock car, how much power will the TODA Sport Injection Kit add?

A) This is a very common question that we get on daily basis. The answer is Sport Injection Kits are designed for cars with extensive modifications. On a stock vehicle, engine only allows certain amount of air to travel through, so by adding Sport Injection Kit, consumers will not see any benefit.

Q) How much power should I expect with TODA Sport Injection Kit? If I have a fully build car?

A) It really depends, the main purpose of the Sport Injection Kit is to increase throttle response at high rpm operation. It was never designed for steet cars that does bumper to bumper daily commutes. We strongly recommend high compression pistons, performance camhshafts, adequate engine management system that reads off the TPS sensor and so on. We are seeing anywhere from 10-20hp increase on smaller displacement vehicles and 40-50 on bigger displacement cars (TODA C35B NSX)."

RBC FTW. ITBs are not worth it unless you have done just about every NA mod, running crazy compression, and your head outflows an RBC. At which point you could get the RBC ported or modded. http://www.blueprintmfg.com/as...=1267
