Default what to buy

Okay I just sold my 98 ex fully coneverted to em1. I want to buy a summer car that can be lightly modded and can handle 20000 miles a year whith out major problems.

1 Tradding in my 07 lx for an 08 si and get a 2001-2005 civic as a daily beater.
2 ep3
3 rsx premium or type s
4 another em1
5 99 and up prelude
6 2002 ford mustang gt
7 ap1 whith high milage

I would like to reach a goal of 200-250 wheel horse power

I have searched and found good points now I would like advice and differences between mods

The only thing that stops me from buying the rsx-s is I have heard that they have serious transmission issues

The '05-'06 RSX Type-S gets my vote. It's a very smooth driving car, excellent shifting, great stereo, much better ratio (4.7 final drive), and luxurious like the s2000. The only thing that ticks me off about the Type-S is the suspension/handling and size of the car (tall, portly). It's the only complaint I have about the car.

This has been my experience while riding/driving my brother's '05 RSX Type-S.

You can easily obtain those kind of numbers, with the k20z1.

you can easily obtain 200-250 with either motors k20a2 or k20z1, **** a k20z3 can hit in there that easily.

Just referring to it's motor, that's all. But you are correct.

2002-2004 would be a better buy wouldnt it due to the lack o tunning for the 05-06 ingegards to k-pr0

It's limited to certain things but nothing detrimental. I prefer the 02-04.

Serious? No, not really. The 02 and 03's had some issues, but there are TSBs on the issue and you can get the trannys fixed at Acura.

just get another em1, with the style of driving you described, that looks like the best option to me.

But correct me if im wrong. In order to add a significant amount of hp you have to boost which requires extensive modification.
