Default Glowing JDM plates

I remember a while ago seeing a car with JDM plates (tags) where the numbers were glowing green, are these oem, aftermarket or just DIY?

thanks

I heard that you have to pay extra for the glowing plates in japan.

With a dremel, $40 bucks for two plates, and some clear green plexi glass and a few bulbs i figure it wouldn't be that hard to make.

I have one. I just bought it because I thought it looked cool, but it's too bulky to mount on a car and have it look clean. I'd rather just mount it on a wall or something....waste of money really.

i like the look

i know what you mean about the bulkyness, id guessed they'd be thicker so il use it for the rear only for that reason, the recess would help hide that.

This looks good imo, nice car btw, drop it some more

never really liked these things that much. They are very bulky looking from the side.
