vacuum hookups on turbo setup
I got a turbo kit on ebay but with no instructions. I am finished hooking it up myself and I got the missing link and a vacuum box from eagle. Now my question is, do all parts of the turbo system that have a vacuum hookup all goto the box and get equal vacuum or do some of them connect to each other? Example: top of the wastegate goes to the blow off valve. I mean im sure it doesnt but just checking where all these vacuum hoses go. Thanks
For boost gauge, tap the fpr line: For the waste gate, if its internal (and at the psi you want) for run a vacuum line to it. If its external run a vac. line to a mbc (manual boost controller) or auto boost controller then to the wastegate: For the bov, just a vac. line anywhere. When hooking up your vacuum box, hook to somewhere off the intake mani (some people do the i/c piping, wierd). B/c if you want 10psi you want it at the intake mani, not around the inter-cooler.

yes they all can go to the vac box. If your turbo has a vac port on it u can run the wg to that instead of the vac box, run your vac box off the brake booster line, and why the missing link, are you running a fmu or vafc? I would get rid of the missing link,fmu,vafc and get tuned or at least a base map.

really i thought I needed the missing link so my computer wouldnt go crazy when it saw above 0 on the map sensor? I have burn 1 and plenty of blank chips and I use crome so I can just tune it out if thats what u are saying, i would just have to see how its done. Thanks!

Get a vac manifold and tap it from the brake booster line on the engine side of the backflow valve.
Also, the stock Honda map is a 1.8bar map sensor and reads to approximately 11.7psi (since 1 bar is negated by atmospheric pressure)
