Default dies when warmed up

i have an 89 crx dx with a 5 speed and the past couple of weeks my car has been dying after the coolant is about 150 degrees. ill start to drive and when vacuum is about 20 (foot barely on the gas) it will start to miss and buck like crazy. it only dies at idle though after it started to buck and miss. does anyone have any idea? thanks

after the car is at idle and its warmed up (full operating temp) youre dumping more fuel to keep the idle and air/fuel mix consistent so to me it sounds like a fuel related issue (fuel pump going bad)... the pump will usually let u turn the car on, but then when u start driving it malfunctions more (bucking). this will get worse and worse until eventually it will completely die. then u buy a walbro 255

check to make sure you're getting fuel and spark.

Mine was just doing this (I bought it this way), and I pulled the plugs, they looked like ***, put in new plugs, and it now runs great. Mine was undrivable when warm, ran great when cold! I would look at basic tune up stuff first.

Edit: I didn't see that you were also the second poster anmd already covered this.

well i figured out the problem, its the coil. but the other coil i have is for a mpfi distributor and the part number is off by one number. do you think i can still use it in the dx distributor.

See if it fits, if it does, I'd rock it.
