1995 EX brakes shaking the whole car
As the topic states the brakes on my mom's 95 EX are shaking the whole car whenever the brakes are applied. She won't take it to a shop so I'm going to have to figure it out and I was wondering if there were any specific times that anyone else got a similar problem corrected.
The ABS light isn't on and does come on when the car is first turned on so I don't think that it is the ABS system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

warped rotors it is, had the same problem. Also check stabilizer bar links bushings, but most likely is the rotors.

I agree. Its warped rotors. Ive heard about lots of people who go for those really cheap deals at places like Midas that tells you theyll only change the pads for X amount (without cutting the rotors) and come back later like right after the service warranty expires complaining about brake pedal and car shakes vigorously when brake pedal is applied. when you go to the shop ask them to cut the front brake rotors and change the brake pads, see if they are willing to inspect your rear brakes too (if its 2mm or less do it), and also ask for semi-metallic or ceramic pads (dont go for the super dirt cheap pads. These usually have higher metallic content which lasts longer, but they screech like mad)
