Default first time running my prelude in the 1/8.....

not my first time racing but its my first in my prelude..

93 si vtec h22a1 stock just a generic intake and a trust exhaust..

full interior and tank of gas...

reaction 0.644
60ft. 2.616
mph 72.22
1/8 10.15

what do u guys think??? my 60 is just killing me..im running on street tires 215/50/15

Better the 60fts. those are horrible 60s. at least you know where there isroom for improvement

Wow the 60's are awful. A poor 60' is 2.3's and 2.2's are somewhat average and 2.1' and 2.0's are good on street tires. How did you manage a 2.6'? Were you spinning like mad? Is the clutch on its death bed?

dont know what u mean by death bed....im putting the car at about 2.5k to 3k and popping the clutch out..i really think my tires suck...i got some hankok lol

yeah dude, those 60 fts numbers are way terrible...no offense but I didnt even do that bad my first time at the track and I was spraying a 75 shot right out of the hole...If you're not going to buy any DR's then I would possibly try launching at a lower rpm and/or try not to pop the clutch out so hard....

do a search on "launching" and while you're at it do one on "preload" it helped me g/l
