Default 255-50-16 Drag radial... anyone run them?

Sorry for the noobyness, but this is the tire i plan to run when I DD the car on the weekends. I will be running a 0-offset rim putting it much further away from the hub/knuckles as I have a JJ-Callos wide fiberglass 3-piece front end

Anyone ran them? Looking for fit-ment reviews.

this is the tire i plan to buy is all goes well from what I hear

I run the 255/50 16 bfg DR on my eg. These required cutting the fender lip off; though, with that widebody it may be fine. You can't go to full lock or it rubs on the inner frame rail. If I had wheel spacers maybe it could go full lock w/out rub. 16x7 +38 I find it doesn't hinder my daily driving, just no sharp u-turning and a few more multi point turns. Ran the 245/50/15 nittos before these; didn't have to cut anything for those, but my car had an awkward stance. I will throw some pics up tomorrow for you.

I think with that 0 offset and those fenders the 255 might clear everywhere just fine.

I am considering 275/50/15 in the future.

Thanks. You had rubbing, but with my 0-offset wheels, and my wide front end, i think i will be fine i hope after hearing this

ya it sucks no one makes a slick or drag radial in 235 for a 16 inch wheels. The only one that would be decent is the Hoosiers or these 255's.

I think Geoff from Full Race had them on his coupe and it doesn't look as staggered as you would think.

TE-37's with 1/4inch spacer works good,

15x7 rota attacks with 235/60/15 no spacer works good also.
