SO I am replacing my first d15b7 and let me tell you it isn't as bad as you would think. I just got old engine out prepping new one to put in in a couple hours. PIcs included I will throw more in soon.

props for doing the swap yourself.. why didnt you go with a d16z6 or something instead of the B7?

 

yeah i never really worked on cars before I used to be small engine mechanic I Went into this and I pretty much have done clutch starter and that is about it. Well I was gonna use my income tax to that but The engine blew way ahead of time I figured I had longer I just picked car up for 1800. SO I got a d15b7 with 90k miles tranny cv axles and all the stuff on it for 400 bucks. It was in his car when I Saw it and it ran great so it works for me now I am gonna buy another block and build it up for turbo.

 

Like that other dude said should have just got a d16 or D15B Vtec engine.Oh well props to you for atleast doing it yourself.Here are some pics when i did mine!
