i need to find a replacement shop that sells the d16y8 motor or jdm replacment for it, can anyone help me on where i can locate one. i dont want to purchase a high milege one or one that someones selling out there usdm civic. i want a jdm one that likely to have alot less miles on it and come with some kind of warrenty.

any reason y it has to be JDM and not USDM im pretty sure there is no difference?

 

there is no difference between the 2 motors, yeah let me change that it doesnt have to be jdm im just saying i want a replacement with low miles it doesnt have to specifically be jdm i just know that there known to have way lower miles then a usdm one ill find and have to rebuild possibly.

 

i have seem a dozen of these for sale in the honda-tech for sale forum most with 75,xxx . i dont know if you would consider that low but for a d that is pretty good.

 

the only problem is taking the chance on a personal motor not saying all or any would be bad motors, its just something about purchasing a motor from a shop and knowing it has a warrentty. but ill check it out on here and see what i can find. i do find them but in other states and people just want them picked up only.
