Who's going to RoadAmerica this coming sunday?
I am and I think I'll bring my dad with. Just wanted to see who else might be going?
Tickets are $35 for general admission w/ paddock, or $50 with tour car lap.

You lucky bastard. Those cars are awesome to watch. I have gone to the Mosport race for the past 3 years and I will continue to go.
Cart and F1 are ghey - I like to watch real cars on street tires.

I'll be there on Saturday and maybe on Sunday. I probably won't be at the CART race in August. World Challenge racing is MUCH better than CART. WC has cars and people I can relate to.

I can see how you car relate more to WC, but it being better than F1 or CART is just totally ridiculous. If WC was better than F1 or CART, then why does Honda spend hundreds of millions of dollars trying to win F1 or CART, while it lets Realtime run the WC program by giving them some cars.
To Honda or any manufacturer, winning F1 is the ultimate prize, hence the name "Grand Prix." You should open your mind and check out other races too.

You probably also think crashes are the best part of the race to watch.

F1 0wnz! There is nothing better
Ya, I know nothing about racing
. I actually do like Cart, but who the **** cares if Honda wins or not. It's not like it relates at all to your street car. And please don't give the Vtec speach. World challenge is way more entertaining and you get to go into the paddock and talk to the drivers
. F1 is probably the most boring sport on earth except for maybe darts. Oh btw, if I wanted to see crashes I would watch Nascar.

I have to agree with Dutchie.....
From an entertainment perspective watching a WC racing is much better. There is actually racing and passing during the event. The drivers, teams, and cars are approachable. The cost and hassle of attending a race is much less. WC is also a level of racing that is achieveble for most people.... F1 is not an option.
I'm not saying that F1 or Cart aren't cool. I dig them. I've watched on TV and attended in person all three types of racing and my vote is for WC

I agree with Ausmith. I've attended all three types of events, and the WC was so much fun. There is definitely nothing like hearing an F1 car/missile roar by, but the races are somewhat boring.. Lime Rock was my first WC race, and I hope to see more in the future..
I'm planning on going. Are any ITR owners taking their car on the track during lunch for the touring session? How long can you stay on?
The touring session doesn't seem to be worth $50 in my mind. I called about it a month ago and decided against it. The girl I talked to said it was limited to around 50 mph and paced somehow. I'll save my money and try to get some track time with a driving school or car club someday.
