Default I need help! Auto to Manual conv. in 95 del sol

I have looked at all the stickies, and I was wondering if there are any differences for del sols, from the FAQ's written up about eg's? Also any help or someone who has done this themselves it would be greatly appreciated...thnx

I did an auto to manual conversion on a 2001 LX for my wife. I just got all the wiring harnesses, the ECU, pedals and gauge cluster with tach. I know you don't need all this stuff, but now it's got that factory finish look. Based on the motor swaps I've done and this conversion you shouldn't have any issues if you get all the parts you need. Sure, you might be able to keep the engine harness and just not plug in some of the former automatic transmission connectors, but I'm not sure if you'll have any CEL's as a result. Good luck.

On Del Sol's they are almost the exact same. But most of them wont run unless you change out the wire harness... Because Auto's have special stuff in the harness. Your car probably won't start without a new harness. Because of park bypass switches and what not... Good luck with the conversion. Post some before and after pics!!! =]

If they Del Sol is somewhat close to the 92-95 eh/ej then you may need the Hasport Auto 2 Manual custom mount. I believe they run about $175 or so... maybe cheaper depending on where you look.
