Car dieing at start up

I searched but it was hard for me to narrow down this problem... My girlfriends auto 2000 civic dies SOMETIMES a few seconds after start up. Sometimes 30 seconds to a minute later. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas, hoping for a quick fix.

Does it happen every time? or just once in awhile...
Check the Fuel filter....And check the fuel pressure
