which header would u prefer for a k20a2 engine. the type R or the DC i found a deal on the type R for 300 and the DC for 350. which one should i get thanks

 

the dc race header is crap if you wanted a cheap raceheader i would buy like a strup or a megan they make the same power as a dc. but if i had to choose i would go with the type R with a vision down pipe

 

DONT DO ANY OF THOSE U WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY.. GET SOME MONEY TOGETHER AND GO WITH A HYTECH.. SIX SIGMA RACING ... COMPTECH (BELIEVE IT OF NOT THEY DO VERY WELL ) OR EVEN A WEAPON R RACE HEADER .. YEA YOU HEARD ME A WEAPON R THEY MAKE A GOOD 10 WHP ... AS FOR THE DC AND THE K20A HEADER THEY JUST AREN'T WORTH THE MONEY

Yes you can run the ITR without a tune and its fine. I have a Mugen Intake, ITR header and Fujitsubo PowerGetter exhaust and I made 183whp (untuned).

i have a dc race header and i dont have a promb with mine i think for the money its one of the best headers

Ive seen quite a few graphs where the DC made decent power on a K20..

 

itr header is for low/mid range power.dc race header mid/high range power with probably 21/8 inch collector, all the other name brand like buddy club, hytech, hybrid, they have 2.5 inch collector.
