I would check to see that the fuse you originally pulled out was the correct amp. That would be the best place to start. Im not saying i doubt you... Im just saying to double check.

if this isnt the case start checking grounds.

i had this same problem, it ended up being the ground. i took the guage cluster out and there is a ground connection in the dash on your right by the steering column. i just clipped the wire and reconnected it. are your gauge cluster light messing up too?
yeah, it's definitely a pain in the ***. but i had no clue what i was doing so i bought a haynes manual, and followed the electrical diagram. 2 hours later i fixed it and also put in a walbro fuel pump
Prob a bad ground somewhere, i would def check them.
Check the one on the tailgate, driver floor, underdash one

Alright. Here is the new problem!!! I went to a local tuner shop. They said its most likely the headlight switch is going bad. So I picked one up for $50. Pulled my steering wheel. And changed it out. Everything worked. Until I did a burn out one night at the races... Everything was working perfect. Got the tires warm. About mid burn out. The fuse blew. So it must be a ground problem, right?
dude, its a ground. 100% on this. and for the record.. never try to use a fuse higher than the original number, best way to continue to mess stuff up worse!
Use the recommended fuse, they put it in for a reason! And its not true, "oh the higher up you go, it just makes it harder to blow the fuse" thats so bad! i had a friend who told me that, and i honestly turned around and told him the never talk again.

YOU WERE SO RIGHT! Since I have a sedan. It was the drivers side marker light... Fixed it. And it hasn't popped again!
