Default Impressive B series dyno tune

I never really post dyno sheets here unless it's something different. Recently tuned another shop's customer's Integra that they've been working on for some time. I was very impressed to say the least

Car: Integra

Engine: DART B20 block, DART head, unknown valve train, Crane cams, 3mm (?) head gasket, 95mm Scat crank, Eagle rods, JE 12:1 pistons (?), ARP head studs

Mods: Driven Concepts top mount exhaust manifold, Driven Concepts 4" e-cutout downpipe, Driven Concepts intercooler piping, Turbo Smart 44mm wastegate, Driven Concepts intake, Driven Concepts dump tube out front bumper, T4 TO4Z (T4/T67) ball bearing turbocharger, Edelbrock intake manifold, Precision 1000cc injectors, Bosch 044 (2) fuel pumps, NGK 4554 spark plugs, AEM boost control solenoid, 30-1040 AEM EMS tuned by Alpha at Brotherz Racing

Tuning at 11.8lbs creeping roughly to 12.2lbs on 93 octane:

483.62whp 378.38ft-lbs Uncorrected

Tuning at 17.8lbs creeping roughly to 18.4lbs on C16

629.00whp Uncorrected

We had some ignition issues, dyno issues (stack fan went out), severe traction issues and radiator cap issues. In all. We had to stop due to traction issues The car did great. The crew at Driven Concepts did a great job on the car! Internal logs showed 91% duty cycle but was not leaning out, yet. Dyno sheets are below. Once I figure out my web host's issues I will be able to direct link them

Seems real lazy for such a big motor, what gear were you dynoing in? 12:1 was before the 3mm headgasket, right?

Tony. You're right. It is a little lazy for a 2.1 liter. Yes. It was late. 12:1 was before the 3mm head gasket

Probably closer to 10:1 with a 3mm Headgasket I would imagine...

There is a LOT of money in that car...whats its final purpose? Dyno Queen Shop car or weekend money maker?

damn i've never seen that much power from only ~18 psi. what do you attribute that amount of power to? the turbo, the headwork, the nitromethane?

He just wanted a fast, reliable, running car. He got it. He ordered a set of bias plies. We're going to the track as soon as we dyno again

hey,

shop i work at did all the work. i was the primary builder. turbo is a journal t4/t67 .96 a/r with p trim, water cooled.

compression is somewhere high 9's to low 10's.

i was expecting that kind of power or torque at all. definatly a nice suprise. here are a couple pics of the setup.

i started to build a 95mm stroke turbo motor but shied away because i was afraid a turbo motor would beat up the bearings too bad with the big stroke.

thats not totally unjust. we didn't build the engine. that particular engine was built for a sema car in 2006 in think. i can get more info on it, but it was a magazine installment build. it was originally built for nitrous, but the owner decided to go turbo.

i'll find the article and post it up. it was a pretty meticulous build.

only thing that has been changed to the engine since the build is a 3mm headgasket and vibrant tensioner. besides that, the engine was left how it was.

we arn't reving it that high (8k), so i'm hoping it should stay together for some time.

its looking like we'll be back on the dyno this next week. more at brotherz and then we'll do some back up pulls on another dyno just to make sure.

this set up is probably going to go in for some overhall in the next year. probably looking at a 42r or a s372, twin disk, bigger injectors and some better axles.

just to clear some things up. compression without the headgasket was 11.5:1.
