Wow, the Hyosung stuff is out in full force..
See 1/2 a dozen of the 600's on craigslist locally, and even a few of the mcdonalds style dealers locally have them for sale...Even some of them are labeling them as suzukis! holy crap...Are these things even worth a 1st look? I always look past...
Hyo's are nice choices for the money. At least, here in Venezuela they are. The pricing is very competitive.
And I have heard only good things from them, bad stuff usually comes from people that have neither owned/ridden a lot in one.

Do they have some relation to the SV650? I remember reading about something like that...</TD></TR></TABLE>
its pretty much a replica made from a Korean company

I rode the hyosung that's a copy of the sv650s and liked it a lot. I thought about buying one but looking at the engine some of the pieces looked cheap...but hell maybe it's durable. It rode great

A friend of mine in Brazil bought a GT250 (naked version) some time ago, and rode 60.000 miles with her, without any major problems, just oil changes and the routine checkup.
Now he has sold it and has bought the GT250R version, he liked the bike very much.

haha I guess I was the only one that thought that ad was kind of clever.

It would be cool if these bikes end up having horrible resale value and you could pick one up on the used market for dirt cheap.
I know this thread is 3 months old, but I am thinking about buying one of these next week. Found a 2007 GT250R for $1800. I was looking at buying the 2008 Ninja 250R for a second bike for commuting, teaching my girlfriend to ride, and for her to ride with me. I recently wrecked, and destroyed, my R6, so I think I just might buy this bike.
Maybe you can win one for $33 http://www.hyosungmotorsusa.co...otion/

they always looked poorly made to me but ive never ridden one. I recall sitting on one at the motorcycle show and not being impressed at all.
But then again at the pricepoint they seem to be selling at, it couldnt be too bad. Id probably stick with japanese though

I saw these at a motorcycle show... I wasn't impressed at all. They had that cheap feel. Kind of like the difference between snap on and that random tool that has no brand name, and only says "made in china" on the side.
