Default Which pistons for a N/A setup?

I am not sure what pistons would be good for my ITR. I wannt a nice high compression to support the toda B cams that i plan on putting in to my car. I have heard of people doing CTR , spoon, Arris and others. What should i go with?

JDM Spoon pistons are balanced and fairly cheap about 300 or so with everything 11.1

i am willing to spend lots of money as long as Its worth it. But that doesnt mean I wont go with something cheap with sugnificant gains. whats the best for the money?

Best for the money .25 oversize CTR pistons. Hands down

But if you arent getting the big cams, i would say99 CIvic Si pistons would
be a good choice. they would yield a CR around 11.3 or so instead of the 12:1
that the CTR will make

This may not be the most appropriate time to ask, but is it fair to say that there's additional parasitic loss with higher compression?
In other words…
Is compression itself considered parasitic loss?

also whats the most octane available where you live ?
that can also help you decide whats the highest CR you can go with your car ..

unless you want to spend some extras on going to forged pistons and rods like JE pistons and eagle rods..

sgt is right. CTR pistons are perfect for n/a applications with big cams.

I know that over the year of reading threads in here that SGT knows what he is talking about, but I have also read and researched about different pistons in a B18c ( 1 or 5) with both a GSR and ITR, B16A head and CTR pistons won't even make 12.1 to 1 with a GSR headed B18c....... Now I am really curious, what will my CTR pistons give me.... I thought they were giving me 11.6-11.8(according to a link that someone in the past put on the board)

Does anyone still have the link to the site where you could drag like a b16a head with b18c block and ctr pistons, then it tells you the compression

B16B pistons have a 8+cc dome.
combine that with the fact that the compression height is taller than all other
81mm b-series pistons and you get the extra compression. To figure out the
exact compression though piston-deck clearance is important as it can cause
large changes in CR.

the .25mm comes from the piston rings

No. There are 81.00mm and 81.25mm pistons AND rings. two separate sizes for both
