Default my crx

i just bought a 1988 crx an i took out the spark plugs an the threads were spray painted...

what all could that do to the engine?

because i ran the car for a lil bit when i realized the smoke i turned the car off.
and that when i checked the plugs and realized that

spray painted?...you sure it wasnt oil baked onto them?

maybe it was anti-seize on the thread to make them easier to come out.

Bingo, if it is silver, it most definitely is. Put them back in and look elsewhere for your problem

oh yeah it was silver I didn't know anti-seize was silver.

that more than likely was it then.
because the plugs came out easy as crap

I feel stupid now.

If your engine smokes it might be a combination of things. What color is the smoke? Where is the smoke coming from.

I sold my house in Waxhaw in July.

I can't remember what color the smoke was.
I haven't crunk it up in at least 2 weeks.
but yeah it was coming out of the exhaust.
and I THINK, not 100% sure but I think it was blue
which means burning oil from what I heard.

at first I didn't know you were talking about the car, and I thought you were trying to say "I can't remember what color it was, and I haven't even gotten high in the last week, I should remember!" lol
