hi just recently put a clutch in and the past two days it has made a click noise from the clutch when i release the clutch and pulling foward and when it is in nuetral it will not make the noise and today it quit doing it so what is the problem.

 

Maybe you installed the Throw out bearing wrong, but i had almost the same problem.

ya i had a friend with that problem.......making a noise when the clutch is out but when the clutch is in it would go away...pretty sketchy ide say

 

i'm pretty sure everything got put in right i had three people helping and i did everything by the book. It actually quit tonight and now it is fine i dont know whats going on hopefully somebody can give me an idea

if it maews noise when the clutch is disengaged the tob is bad-the throwout bearing is being pressed against the pressure plate

if it makes noise when the clutch is engage-input shaft bearing. the tob has no pressure on it when the clutch is engaged
