Default lsvtec would a bigger oil line to head be better

Ok i had a lsvtec put in my car and had the sandwhich adaptar but it leaked for some reason. So i got a new kit from whitfield racing but the hose looks so small like a line u would use on a turbo like the oil feedline or something. Not sure the size but is there a difference in performance or anything by getting a bigger one like the golden eagle steel braided line?

use -4 and up. vtec won't see enough pressure to turn on with a -3 turbo feed line.

The one from Whitfield is fine. You wont see a performance gain with anything bigger. Its not like a camshaft.

Ive used a -3an line for over a year now with no problems. I inspect my cams and see no abnormal wear and have no oil pressure loss a x-over.
With a -4an line and bigger (which many people use with no problems), I can see it making the oil pump work a bit harder to supply the added oil. Correct me if I'm wrong.

hmm ok, i mentioned don't use -3 because i personally tried to. i had to go over everything when vtec wouldn't come on with zero cel's and plenty of oil. turns out it worked fine after i changed the line.
