E-BRAKE LOCK KIT!!
The concept is that the E-Brake cannot be released down until the lock is removed. Its another theft deterrent for thieves to try to get them to move on and if the car is driven or towed with lock in place it will make too big of a scene causing someone to see something. After all, when tires screech everyone looks outside!
It can be installed quickly and be kept in your glove box or your girl’s purse. It’s small and is only 6.3 ounces in weight including lock and shaft! It will come in either gloss black or brushed stainless steel and includes 2 keys.
Lets clear some things up. The console in no way plays a role in the E-Brake lock. The e-brake arm is a double layer of metal. Inside that double layer is a steel half moon shaped piece with teeth in the edge for the e-brake lever to catch on.
What this lock is doing is going through your handle housing on one side, going through the half moon piece of steel, and out the other end of the handle housing. THIS SHAFT IS PASSING THROUGH 2 DIFFERENT PIECES OF METAL which is why you can not release the e-brake with this shaft in place! You e-brake arm can not slide down and over the moon shaped piece of steel if there is something slid through both pieces! The weight is placed on the e-brake housing itself which is steel and bolted in 2 places to your floor NOT THE CONSOLE.
If you have a deadbolt on your house door then you can see the concept.
There is a housing that holds a pin inside and a latch on your door, then on your wall you have a latch. When you close the door the 2 latches mate and when you twist the **** the pin slides through them preventing you from opening the door no matter what you do unless you remove the pin which is holding the 2 latches together.......hope you understand now

It looks like it can be cut with a fence cutter, am i wrong? The metal seems small and easy to put a cutter around and snap right through...

is a theft deterrent just like club, alarms, kill switches etc. I don't know this guy and I am just reminding you folks what its purpose. Price might be a little too high for something low quality.

Yea it looks like it will be easy to break and get around it.
Although to a thief so is the club, alarms, boots, kill switches, etc....
Its all about adding more and more **** to either make them think twice, or give you a few extra seconds to catch the *****.
Price is steep, but
to trying to deter thieves.

Dude good idea but, rather than trying to hit us over the head with these prices why didnt you just due a DIY and suggest we use the masterlock coupler latch lock? Its clear in the pics that its the one you are using and it only costs about $15 retail.
