Default Need help with cable shifter in my accord

I recently pull the motor out of my car and after I install everything back in the shifter cables doesn't want to move. it feels like its stuck in 3rd gear. Did I install it wrong, or did I forget something? this is for a 95 accord with a manual transmission. thanks in advance.

did you by chance pinch the cable between something somewhere when installing the motor/tranny?

no the cables looks fine. they are running behind the engine block and back to the shifter just like they should.

try rocking the car back and forth a bit. the gears may be stuck from re-assembly. try moving the shifter then. also, since there are 2 cables, make sure you did not reconnect them to the wrong levers on the tranny.

Hope this helps...
