Default Couple Random Question: Clue Me In Please :D

Where to start....

ITR Clock Color, I seen some that are either Red or Amber. Anyone know what the color really is? I never seen in person and always seen low quality pictures. Couldn't tell what the color was.

What is the color code if any, or a color that comes BEST to matching the ITR Red valve cover? I plan on painting my block once i rip it out to that color red. Block and valve cover matching.

What bulb size(s) are in the climate control/lighter/ashtray? I been looking around and asked a couple of people, and i couldn't seem to get this answered.

What is my estimated compression with p30/pr3 pistons on ls rods/crank. What NGK spark plugs would be best for the compression. I think it would be close to 10:1.

hhmmmm.... what else, what else....

I am having bad wear on my tires still, and i was reading up on the skunk2 camber kit, and heard they bang the **** out of the fenders. So ima not get them, and i also heard the camber kits are useless. But, i was just gonna get some cheap ebay camber kit, just so its adjustable to a extent. Would that be even worth it?? I am buying new tires and wheels when spring hits, and i don't wanna spend a assload of money and bald the insides of the tires.

I am plannign on doing my retrofit over with some new headlights, but anyone know what ebay halo's come with the metal inner bracket? I am taking out the halo and just gonna use the housing w/ clear front. Look OEM without the ricer halo.

Also, i had someone try and break into my car. So i took the part out that connects the outside locking mech. with the bar on the inside of the door. It got broken, i need the same year and model for it to fit correctly. anyone happen to know the "real" name of this part?

I think this is the last thing...

how do the replica front lip, rear valance, and side skirts fit on the dc2's? I seen pictures, they looked great, but idk if modding was needed and or fitting was good. I need everything on my car to look mint and clean. So don't wanna invest on soemthing i will not use.

thanks, some of the questions that have been bothign me

Haha, you have alot on your mind dont you?

Well, I'll see what I can answer:

The ITR clock is amber. It is always amber, as the rest of the lighting is amber - so it all matches. I think the reason you see it as red could be due to the camera, resolution, or angle. But it is amber.

Camber kits are not useless, if they are properly designed. I cannot vouch for Skunk2 camber kits specifically, but overall I know they make good products. There are other brands out there, just do some research and see what other recommend. As a rule of thumb, I usually stay away from no name Ebay stuff when it comes to vital components such as suspension items.

The fitment of replica lips/side skirts/ rear valance all vary - even from the same manufacturer. This is because they often reuse the same molds over and over again to the point where the mold itself is out of spec. So, when going with replica stuff just know in the back of your mind that dry fitting and even some modification to the piece will be necessary. It's a question of how much modification will be needed to make it fit like stock.

1.

2. or

3. Climate Control: 34354-SB0-003 BULB, NEO-WEDGE (T4.2)
Ashtray: 35505-S04-003 BULB (14V1.4W)

4. Not too sure.

5. It's better to invest in a camber kit (Skunk2 Pro Camber Kit) than to invest in tires.

6. Might as well paint the OEM housing black if you are planning to open up the aftermarket halo lights.

7. Look up the part name and number on http://www.sonsacuraparts.com

8. Replica parts will need to take some time to make them fit nicely. Don't expect them to fit like OEM.

For your compression estimate, check out this site: http://www.clubcivicquebec.com...f.php
I was going to check it for you but there isn't enough information about what you would be running. Need to know what head and block, etc...

Chances are you don't need a camber kit at all. If you look in the wheel and tire and even the suspension forum, most people think they need the camber kits when really an alignment is all that is needed. Generally, camber kits are only needed for competition use where you would be constantly adjusting camber settings for different tracks or races. If you take your car to a Les Schwabb or another tire center an alignment is around $75. That should cure most of the premature wear issues. The toe settings for your front wheels affects inside and outside tire wear far more than camber does. An alignment will correct this since so much can change when people lower their cars.

You can select the car and then the area that the part is in that you are looking for. This really helps because it loads an exploded view of whatever section you are looking at. So you can look for the locking mechanism and then get a complete view of every part associated with it. They have part #s, names, and prices as well.

Hope that stuff helps since the other questions were answered above by the other guys.

--- Thankyou for the clock color. They were just shitty pictures. Camber kit, i didn't mean useless just, unnecessary. For what im going for. As for the ebay camber kit, i was only thinking a cheap *** ones cause i don't really need a camber kit for what im looking for really.

--- Ty for the paint and bulb size. As for the camber kit, i am getting new 16in rims and tires. So i can't be rolling without tireS :D

I want to buy the halos, but not the black housings. I am getting chrome and taking out the halos. It will look OEM, and i don't wanna use mine again cause i don't wanna destroy the retro i did.

I'm gonna have to completely agree with what gsrob said with regards to the camber kit. They're pretty much a waste of money and will barely do anything to help your tire wear problems if your toe is out of spec.

Instead of buying a camber kit, pay for an alignment and put the rest of the money towards getting better tires...or gas...or something more useful.

--- That made me giggle :D The ones i was looking @ only had minor adjustment, so i thought they would be better than nothing. Ima put up with the tire ware for now, and no camber kit. It was like 75 bucks, so wasn't anything serious. Just a thought.

I seen a ITR clock on market[place, but it's got a scratch on it idk where else to get one @ besides for here.

This isn't completely true. After I did my Integra brake swap, I did an alignment to get toe within spec, but I didn't have a camber kit at the time.

My driver side was 2 degrees neg and my passenger was 4 degrees neg. After about a year of driving, the inner part of the passenger tire was considerably balder than the driver side. There aren't any major potholes in Hilo, so I know the toe couldn't have been out of whack.
