Default SH engine is shot, rebuild or replace?

Hey guys, my type SH engine is pretty much no good! (let a friend drive 5th to 2nd downshift)

Anyhow I was wondering would it be worth it to rebuild the engine? or is it possible for me to just pick up a h22a swap and swap it in the car?

Need as less downtime as possible.

Tried searching, didn't get the help I needed.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Travis

Depending on how bad your friend damaged your engine you might be able to get away with just popping the head off and fixing the valves then reinstalling. Could be cheaper and take less time than a full swap.

If the block is hosed then you'll have a harder time finding an SH block for sale.
