That's not stupid. If you arent familiar with these cars, you could probably think something major is wrong with it. You have a legitimate question.

Look into a spark plug tube seal replacement. Better yet, buy these gaskets from your local dealership.

agreed you also might want to get a tube of hondabond while you are at it use just a little on either side of the seals and you could probably also stand to replace the valve cover gasket while you are in there.

Oil in spark plug. Somehow oil is seeping through the seals. but which one?? That is the question...I first would check the spark plug grommets then move on to the valve seats/ guides. If possible rebuild the head with new seals to be on the safe side

As STREETWERKZ said... If there is oil in spark plug tubes (the area where the plug wires go) then the tube gaskets are bad.

They are fairly inexpensive just pick up a valve cover gasket allong with the spark plug tube gaskets and a tube of hondabond (to use on the 4 corners where the valve cover gasket meets the cam humps.)

Maybe lots of blow-by (oil passing the piston rings)? Does it smoke real bad? Blue smoke

The easy fix is gonna be the spark plug grommets. Replace those first and a valve cover gasket at the same time. If it continues, then you need to replace the rocker seals(#17 on the diagram). There are four rubber seals between the rocker arms and the head. They tend to leak oil into the spark plug tibes over time as well. They are fairly inexpensive but is a little more in depth in the repair.

Edit: Just saw Streetwerks already pointed out the rocker seals

If Im not mistaken, i believe that the gaskets will run you about 16 dollars plus tax from your local honda dealership..thats the valve cover gasket and spark plugs seals.
