I just picked up a d16z6 motor, to replace my d15b7. and I dont want to mess anything up, so does anybody out there know any good places in southern california that swaps out motors for a good price thanks a lot!
A swap like that is pretty much plug & play, other than possibly having to wire VTEC.
If you have the ability to go 2 or 3 days without having to drive your car & have a friend to lend a hand I'd recommend doing it yourself & saving a lot of money.
A shop of a family friend did my last motor swap for me for $500. Only reason I didn't do it myself is because I didn't have access to the tools or a garage to do the work in.
