Better swap for EK H2B or F2B?
So i been reading alot about H/F2B swaps as well as collecting various parts i will need for the swap. I know i want to do this swap but my problem is the motor is going into a EK hatch. This makes it a little harder to swap a H22 unless i can find one thats OBD2 vary few websites sell OB2 H22 and if they do they cost a arm and a leg. Im not worried about emissions really i just want the car to run good this is what makes me lean to a F20 insted of a h22 but at the same time it dosent put out as much trq.
so heres my options
1. OBD1 H22 ( deal with the extra wiring and other problems of having a obd1 motor in a obd2 car)
2. OBD2 H22 ( pay the high price cuz its worth it to have a obd2 h22 over obd1 in a EK and everything plugs up no prob.)
3. OBD2 F20 ( deal with the lower trq. #'s becuse the price is the same as a obd1 h22 and everything plugs up no prob. just as a obd2 h22 would.
Just thought i would get some opinions basicly what would you do? Hopefully someone can point something out i wasent thinking about.

I say H-series. There are more off the shelf parts for H22 than the F. Not to say that the F is not good. Its just a matter of being able to get parts easy for the H22 and if you decide to sell later, you have more buyers for the H motor than the F.
yeah that makes sense is it worth paying around $1800 to go OBD2 then or should i just buy a OBD1 H22 for $1200? Im alright when it comes to wiring im just not sure how much is involved when puting a OBD1 H motor in a OBD2 EK.
obd1 is best for tuning
or as far as ive heard
theres alot more options with obd1 and you dont need hondata and all that

not to be mean but you have alot to learn yes obd1 is better for tuning but you can use a obd1 to obd2 harness even if you have obd2 to us a obd1 ecu for tuning. Also you need to use obd1 with hondata and no you dont need it but its nice to have.
how hard is the added wiring? is it something that some logical thinking and effort can solve without a problem? also, what are your plans for the car? (i.e. boost/ NA) Is the f20 the block that does not have the FRM?

DEFINITELY go H22A. Even if you end up buying an OBDI motor and swapping stuff to run it in your car, this is a MUCH better choice. Not only do you have more torque and displacement. But you won't be stuck with some oddball motor that you have a hard time getting parts for (either performance or OEM replacement).
