I have a b18b1 out of a 1994 Integra Ls. I am rebuilding the motor and in the future I plan to run about 15 lbs of boost. Wich rebuild is more inviting to psi. By the way its going into my 5th gen civic
If built right both setups will run well.
However the LS/V will cost more money. Personally, I'll take the extra money from the LS/V and put it toward other items in your build/project.

Either engine will do that with relative ease. I can tell you from experience that GSRs love boost and will handle quite a bit more than what you're looking for on the stock block. The numbers in my sig are on the stock GSR block...the FS link has my dyno graph if you want to see just how streetable it can be.
