I have a 6th generation accord, which is 4cyl sedan. I have about a 2in gap in the front between tire and fender. I was wondering if I cut ONE coil on my installed Neuspeed race springs, how much of a drop am i expecting?

x3 on just get new springs if you don't like the drop...btw what color are those springs? just wondering because with the neuspeed race springs it dropped me quite a bit on my cb7
they are yellow. I have a 4cyl.....the drop in the back is perfect (it sits rite above the tire. and in the front, there is about a 2 in gap that i want to get rid of). I heard cutting springs in the front is not dangerous though.
i would just go with new springs, not worth screwing up your **** just to look better. Its dangerous because your springs are rated to support your car, if you remove a coil, then it doesnt have the right compression rate to support your car right.
There's no way Neuspeed Race springs should have a 2 inch gap in the front. With the Sport springs (less of a drop than the Race springs) I have much less than a 2 inch gap, as do all the others on here that have Sport springs.
I'd check to make sure the springs are installed/sitting correctly, or that you even have the correct springs.
And whatever you do, do NOT cut the springs.

Thanks, they are the race springs.
I had them installed professional. How would I know if they are not installed correctly? Also my car is a 4cyl so it doesnt weigh much and therefore the drop in the front isnt much?
