Default a LS/V question

ok guys i am going to be putting a decent LS/V setup together and i have basically all my parts that i am going to use on paper but i am stuck on the valvetrain.. specifically the SPRING/RETAINER combo. Now i will be using stage 2 skunk 2 cams and am looking for a reliable 85-8700 rpm rev limit. my question is what would be the best valvetrain setup for me to use to get my rev limit that i want and something i dont have to worry about every couple thousand miles with checking like most guys say they have to do with Ti retainer setups.. i want to learn so please explain to me why you went that route and why it would be benificial to me and my goal. this is going to be my first ever B series build and want to make sure i do it right.

onmi power

lowest seat pressure, snap fit design to prevent premature wearing could withstand 10,000 rpm's
see http://www.onmipowerusa.com

oh, i do have these in my car with a rev limit of 8500 rpm's so i have lots of room to grow...

thanks guys.. my big thing is i DONT want to use Ti retainers for the sake of maintenence.. i have talked with supertech, and they say i can run there popular low boost all motor springs and use some OEM retainers and be just fine at the revlimit im looking for. I personally dont like the check your retainers at regular intervlas to see if they are stress cracked or not
