S2K are some of the best single xenon projectors to use for a retrofit. As for the HID kit to use, I always use OEM kits when doing retrofits for people. Any type of ballast that is equipped to power up D2S bulbs will work just fine

Yup, my personal favorite single xenon projector.
I don't understand what you mean by 'kit'
If you're talking about output of bulbs, you want to pick out bulbs that have the highest lumen(lm) ratings. Kelvins(k) measure the color temepture and lumens measure the distance of light output. Higher the kelvin, lower the lumen almost everytime.
For example,
if you pick up Philips Ultinons (6000k), you'll loose about 500-700lm compared to OEM standard 4000-4300k bulbs (3000-3400lm, depending on company) but gain a little more white/blue color.
In other words, more color=less output; higher kelvins=lower lumens.
If you think you ready to dump a ton of cash for your retrofit, go to hidplanet.com/forums and do your homework.
Good luck.
