would it help to get oil jets on my h23 turbo?

It will help cool down the pistons, yes. You may not need them though.

You are referencing the oil squirters in the block, correct?

It is a simple, cheap addition that is only added security for you.

I don't think they fit with the H23 crank though. If you're using forged pistons you shouldn't need the squirters.

Vig's right, unmodified, they won't fit with the h23 crank. They can, however, be bent to fit, and work just fine, depending on who does the bending.

They're pointed at a specific location. Is it even worth it if you aim them somewhere else?

Lately i've been following the debate as to why the H22a has oil squirters and H23's dont.

Firstly: what the squirters look like:


Stock H23 rods have an oil orifice or hole in them that allows oil to come up to underneath the piston for cooling of the piston/cyl. The H22 rod does not have these holes and therefore needs the squirters.
