91-Crx Which motor swap? CTR/B20Vtec/GSR
1991 Crx Dx
-gutted
-Tein Ha 8k/10k
-Rear strut bar
-Rear ST sway bar soon
-Ef9 10.3in brakes with larger brake booster
-Enkei RP01 w/ Azenis
Right now its got a Jdm B16a which runs clean and has got the car Bar'd
This motor isnt enough for me and I have not decided on what motor to get next, maybe I could use your input.
As of now it's a throw up between B16B, GSR w/ ctr pistons or JDM GSR, or B20vtec. My budget is around 16OO for the longblock. I can get the b16b longblock for 1400. I am leaning towards the CTR block, help me out
Thanks

1) this topic has been covered so many times i wanna barf. Motor selection comes down to your budget and goals for the car.
2) a B16B block is a waste. the ctr made the power in the head, not in the block.
3) Search.
4) Good luck getting any of the motors besides the GS-R bar'd from what i understand. I wouldn't know. I live in a state where my emissions involves a Resonator and muffler.

It really comes down to you preference, your money and your goals. It is your car it is your decision not ours. Hate to lock this but it it is really up you state regs, research of what you want to to and what motor is best suited for that application.
