itr swaped ef..header/exhaust help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default itr swaped ef..header/exhaust help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a 97 jdm itr engine in my ef...as you may know it came with a 4-2-1 header... my brother is giving me his dc sports 4-1 ( its the one for the gs integra...and it has a 2 inch. collector) i have a dc sports can back ehaust which the pipe is 2 inches.....im planing on using no cat......will this set up work well..or should i seel the header and get the itr header??? thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are running a 2" exhaust, why wouldn't you want to use a 2" collector?


Just run the DC header.

i hear a lot about the 2.5 inch collector, that it gives you more power....but im going to try the dc sports header....thanks alot!!!!!!

read his first post. it could be a typo. but anyway, this thread isnt about headers and could be's. it's about which SIZE of collector. and that question was already answered.

Only the 1999+ JDM ITR has the stock 4-1 header. The 1996-1998 JDM ITR simply has a 4-2-1 with a cast manifold, but with a 2.5 inch collector.

corect the jdm 96-97 engine came with a 4-2-1 and the collector is huge.....i put the 4-1 dc header and ran a straight pipe no cat....but my car shakes a sh*t load everything shakes inside.. would i be better off getting a high flow cat????????
