Default Dead Speedo

Yes I searched !!! My speedo isnt working sometimes it flutters
I tried 3 well known speedo gears nothing . I tried 2 clusters and still nothing
replaced the cable and nothing I even pulled out the gear spun it and made sure it was spinning at the cluster end and bolted it back in the tranny without removing the cable tested the yellow/red wire and its good all the way to the ecu
any other ideas ???? my wife got a speeding ticket already oh its a b16 with a s1 tranny

has it always done it on that tranny? it seems like you covered everything so maybe the gear in the tranny that spins it is fukeled.

Could be that the plastic gear on the differential is stripped, though very unlikely. Have you tried a different cluster? Maybe try another speedo cable. I've gotten one from Honda that didn't work properly before.

she got a ticket for doing 39 in a 30 it a detour because they're doing construction and they were out in full force the first day at 5AM I think she did pretty good for not know that the speedo went out so are you smart enough to get 30 dead on with people on your *** ???

Maybe it's just the VSS and not the diff. gear? It would be a plastic ring that runs on either side of the diff. gear. I forget if it's the driver's or passenger's side.

I never did the break-in for the diff just drove it lol but yesterday it was kinda hard to take it out of gear and put it in gear Ive tried 3 different vss they all spin freely so now Im getting kinda worried to open up the tranny cause the diff is obviously spining right, cause the car is moving ,so Im thinking something broke inside the tranny and is stuck around the vss gears . car moving = diff spining = spining vss = good speedo but my speedo isnt working so somethings in there I have a spare s1 integra tranny that I guess Im going to have to use Im going to pull everything apart tonight hopefully Ill be done by Sunday night so I wont have to drive my G any more cause the gas is killing me
