Default Would this work, GC lowering springs on KYB AGX's?

I recently bought a 1995 Civic Ej1 and one of the things that definitely needs to be replaced in the suspension due to it being shot. I won't be getting the suspension for a little while because I'm paying off my loan first, but it wouldn't hurt to start researching the set-ups I would like.

Would the GC's on AGX's combination work well? I want to lower my car, giving it about 1 finger space in between the tire and fender in the front and back. Right now my car looks as if it's about to go off-roading, so anything will greatly help.

I don't want to spend any more than $800 on this because I'm not looking into extreme racing or auto-xing. More of a daily driver, something that looks nice, rides well, and will last.

Any suggestions/input would help greatly.

Buy a koni ground control combo for 850 shipped (several vendors offer this price), and get the best shock combo out there...

But the combo you list will also work well. But you will receive thousands of peope have used the koni/gc combo and been very happy.

Yes i have this set up, i lov it....you can adjust the shocks 4 ways...from soft to hard...and you really feel a difference.....for daily driving i have my fronts set at 3 and rears at 2, when i go to the canyons or track (hopfully this year) i set it all on 4...as for how low my cars sits its not slammed....you could put 1 finger all around....but if you could spend more $$$ i would up the antee and go for the KONI adjustibles....with GC.....

I have the GC's and AGX's on my hatch and have had them for over 2 years with no problems. My car is pretty low and the shocks have handled it fine. I do wish that I would have bought Koni's to start with though. They do perform better and ride better. But I am happy with them for the most part. I want to get some GC top hats in the near future.
