shoot... i was under the impression i had to break suspension in. well... i almost have 1000 miles on them. my appointment for alignment is on jan. 18th. any OTHER ill effects besides tires wearing out?

If you did not correctly reset the bushings to your new ride height, you'll wear them out prematurely, and could have the suspension "settle" a little over time changing your alignment.
Other than that, just the tire wear.

If you did not correctly reset the bushings to your new ride height, you'll wear them out prematurely, and could have the suspension "settle" a little over time changing your alignment.

thanks... i preloaded all my bushings prior to tightening the bolts.

I ignored that when I lowered mine a little over a year ago, and reset the rest. 2000 Integra GSR, 70k miles, daily driven, autocrossed in STS class, and HPDE use. All my original bushings still seem to be in great shape, except for the big trailing arm bushings, which show cracks (nearly as bad as my 214k mile 91 LS).
Whether its the track abuse, or the lack of resetting it that has caused it to start to fail before the others, no clue. But I did not reset it, it is wearing out sooner than the others, and will be replaced soon.
