I purchased a dash harness from this bitch who has a thread up over a month ago and still have yet to receive it, during the first two weeks he keeps on telling me to wait, its been a month and i have yet to receive my harness. I know that there isnt much I can do but i just wanted to warn our forum users not to buy from "reego."

I will provide to you some wisdom when using Paypal.

1) Always keep you balance set to $0. (No, this is not for scamming. See item 2.)
2) Always pay with a credit card. Never pay with a bank account. And never pay with existing Paypal funds (see item 1).
3) If a problem arises, call your credit card, not Paypal.
4) Keep a specific bank account linked to Paypal and maintain a zero balance.

actually you know what , i had the same problem to. I bought a black trunk cover , i have yet to receive it and that was 8 months ago. the guy kept giving me stupid excuses. o ya i think i have a dash harness hanging around here .

Most credit card companies are very good about this. I had one bad experience with this situation though. 3 years ago I sold a B series cable transmission to someone in GA. It was an unconfirmed address, but I thought nothing of it. After the buyer recieved the transmission, he just called the credit company and said he never recieved the transmission. They took the funds out of my paypal even though I had a balance of $0.00. The next time I got on my paypal it red - 457.00 or something like that. According to paypal there was nothing I could do because it was not a confirmed address that I shipped to. So just be careful when sending/recieving money though paypal even if it is through a credit card payment.

I've contacted the user in question, and requested his input regarding this matter.

 

that is why the only place i use paypal is on ebay or on secured websites, if its a car part, i will travel to get it, or live without it.

 

the paypal account is my friend's he tried refunding the money today, I can't do anything for 3 days because the account is on hold, the money will be refunded as soon as this clears.

 

exactly as dogg said always keep ur blance at $0 and pay with credit card, and NEVER call paypal, they are the worst damn people ever, i sold airbags with steering wheel and the guy got um and said they dont fit his integra, which he was bs, but he wanted his money and too keep my stuff, so my account has been on hold for 6 months now, paypal has the wrost customer service, gotta call the credit card company, reego you got a bad rep now, know ones gonna wanna buy from you now, shudve sent the guys stuff man...

Still gave the guy a hard time and didn't produce the product. and to using someone else's paypal to sell goods
