Default New To This

I am in the middle of aquireing a 91 CRX HF. As far as I know the engine is a d16v6 but I am not really sure. Figured I would introduce myself. So far the only thing I am looking at going is putting a good header on it and exhaust. Currently there is an exhaust leak but that won't last long. Can anyone point me in the direction of a new or used header? Also I am looking at putting skunk2 coil over set up. Recommended by one of the guys I work with. Eventually want to redo the interior and paint on the body. I am sure I will be looking at doing more down the road but this is a start. I will post pics later. There are a few bugs I am tyring to work out if anyone can help me with this I would appericate it. First thing is the defrost fan the controler doesn't work. I thought about checking the fuses but if there is anyone who can point me in the right direction of what to check to get it working I would be greatful.

FIRST OFF...WELCOME TO HT...second....theres no motor made by honda thats a v6...u mentioned the d16v6...if anything its the USDM Si that brings the d16A6. As for your exhaust leak..change it out asap if possible...and as most would agree, DC makes some pretty good headers for most cars..especially hondas and acuras. But theres more sites out there that you can check out, one being PASSWORDJDM.com.

I should have said I am unsure about the engine from what the guy who I am getting the car from said the engine has had the mini me up grade. I really don't know to much about these cars. I have always been into V8's. My situation is the guy is buying my truck and giving me the car kinda like a trade in. From what I understand the engine is a 1.5 with a 1.6 head. Like I said I don't know much about imports. Any input would be helpful.

truth. my mom drives a second gen oddessey. vTAK engages around 4600 RPM's.

I think he meant that there was no such thing as a "v6" designation after the d16
