Default Trouble with boosted civic w/ hondata s300

I was running a 911 turbo the other night (on a track of course!) and was doing great until i got to 7grand the CEL flashed and the fuel cut, i figured it was a stupid glitch shifted to 4th and same thing. Now when i was tuned it was almost 100*F outside and when i was doing this it was 30* and ive since put on a new intercooler. My idea was that the computer was sensing that it was leaning out to much and just cut it before any serious damage was done....does this sound like a viable conclusion? Im not able to find out much about the s300's workings

Try to datalog the instance. It could be a slipping clutch on the 2-step, boost cut, lean protection cut (if v1.3.1), or it could be that it's not switching to the HI cam and reaching the last RPM breakpoint.
