loose starter ground wire
Our 2000 CRV recently had the ground wire come loose from the connector on the starter. It is only a blade connector. The first time it happened we had it towed to a dealer and they found the loose wire. To their credit they simply reconnected the wire and called it good. Only problem is it came loose again on Christmas Eve. I found the loose wire, crimped the connector a little bit and put it back on. It seemed to be tight and is still on.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if they had any better ideas for a more lasting solution. I thought about soldering the connector on, but then it would be a pain to remove if I ever needed to replace the starter again.
