remove ac and pw
Read on Honda-Tech a while back that removing ac and/or ps add a little hp to your car. Never finish reading that thread and cannot find it no more. Sounds a little absurd to me.
Can someone confirm this for me.

It's not absurd, it's simple. Look at the Civic Type R, or any race car...they are running just an alternator. Anything that is belt driven by the crankshaft is consuming engine power.
Technically it doesn't "make" any power, it just frees up a few hp the engine is making to be used at the wheels instead of driving the accessories.

Well, power steering is not really and issue for me and AC is not needed ye considering it's really cold this time of year in Wa.
So, answer to my quesion is yes correct? There will be an increase of power when those parts are removed.

Removing the A/C system is more for weight reduction, since the compressor spins freely when the system is switched off, thus it does not create any parasitic losses. Removing the PS system can free up between 4-7 whp on a B-series.
Well AC is not working right now because it's not charges, so thats a gonner. PS steering will be removed tomorrow. Any write-up on the removal?
Yes, it is B-Series motor.
B18C5 hehe

Just from my own personal experience, I removed my PS and ever since I have had great results but not in the horsepwr area but rather my forearms. My forearms and triceps are really defined and muscular! Swaping out my original PS rack for a Non- PS rack made it hell of a lot easier!
