NEED HELP CAR WONT GO INTO GEAR DC2 !!!!!!
Well here it goes i have a 95 integra just put in a gsr motor in it well i bleed the clutch and turned on the car but the car wont go into the gear i tried flushing tranny fluid then putting some in .......it only goes into gear wen the car is off dont kno wat it could be let me kno wat you guys think thanx
Can you select gears with the engine off? If so, the clutch is most likely at fault. If you cannot select gears whether the engine is on or off, check the linkage and engine/tansmission mounts.
im having the same problem i changed two trannys, a throw out bearing, clutch slave cyclinder, and a few other things and my car still wont go in gear when the engine is on. everything is torqued to spec but still is being gay. and i just put on a act 6 puck, ima change the clutch today and let you guys know what fixes it.
yup i'm going with the clutch. Basically if the engine is always spinning the transmission's mainshaft because it won't disengage, then the gear syncros can't ever match the speeds of the gears because the output end of the transmission is at a dead stop where the input is moving at 900 or so RPM's.
I would check your clutch assembly. Did you install the clutch yourself? or did it come already assembled? If you installed it, make sure that everything is placed correctly, and if not, I would take it apart and look for faulty parts.

The very first thing I would do is make sure that you bled the clutch lines properly. Most people that do it for a first time do not and have air in the lines. Air will compress when pushing the clutch pedal, rather than moving the shift fork all the way in.
i had this exact problem in my Da i could go into any gear when car was off but when i started the car it wouldn't go into any gear i ended up replacing clutch release bearing and it was straight after that
I have an issue with 98 JDM Integra Type R, 1.8DOHC Vtec, S80. Already replaced Honda MTF but no good. Gears are smooth as butter with the engine cold (I've checked all Gears, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and even Reverse) but when operating temp is reached it gets more n more difficult to shift and this isn't a problem with one gear. The shifter takes more effort to put it into gear. There is no grinding, no squealing at all. By the way with engine hot, even if I shut the engine try to shift it is still hard to shift. Please help
